Gun Violence in California: Intervention and Interruption Strategies
Tuesday, March 17, 2020
9:00AM - 10:30AM PST

Webinar

Join San Diego Grantmakers and our partners at the Hope and Heal Fund for an informative conversation about how to address the public health crisis of gun violence through a racial equity framework. The American Public Health Association recognizes gun violence as complex and deeply rooted in our culture, but it is preventable. A comprehensive public health approach is crucial now more than ever.

The informational webinar will provide California funders with information about the current gun violence epidemic in our state and the many drivers of this issue, including community violence, domestic violence, and suicide. The goal is to empower and equip participants with the tools to ensure we have safer homes and communities free of gun violence, injuries, death and trauma within California. Together we can revitalize our communities and make them peaceful and safer places we all desire.
